The Health and Safety Department manage safety and good practice, give advice and produce safety systems which include risk assessments and method statements for work carried out within Mayson Bros Ltd’s diverse work programmes. The department holds qualifications in NEBOSH, SMSTS and IOSH , are we are also proud to be accredited by CHAS.
All of our sites are regularly inspected and audited to ensure compliance. We actively encourage all our employees to report any accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure we take all measures possible to protect the well being of our workforce and the public.
As an environmentally aware organisation, Mayson Bros Ltd are conscious of the impact our actions may have on the world around us and are continuously working towards protecting, conserving and enhancing all aspects of the environment both locally and globally. This is done through compliance with all relevant legislation and all environmental requirements of clients and where possible, exceeding those requirements. We also operate a thoughtful buying policy selecting wherever practicable, materials and services which are less damaging to the environment, our site supervisors hold the Site Environment Awareness Training Scheme qualification.
All our site operatives have CSCS or CPCS cards, and our staff hold a variety of nationally recognised qualifications in order to be able to deliver a wide range of Civil Engineering, Drainage and Construction Services, these include – Swift Water Rescue Technicians, NRSWA Streetworks, Water Jetting , Confined Space Entry, IPAF, WIAPS, Pasma, City and Guilds and NVQ qualifications in various skilled construction trades.
