Mayson Bros Ltd has a strong and proactive health and safety department led by David Parker CMIOSH, NEBOSH the Health and Safety Manager.

The health and safety department manage safety and good practice, give advice and produce safety systems which include risk assessments and method statements for work carried out within Mayson Bros Ltd's diverse work programmes.

The department also helps and advises customers to organise their health and safety systems for maximum benefit and compliance to existing and proposed legislation.

The main depot at Chapel Street, Egremont is a registered Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) accredited training centre (No. 58795) and the Health and Safety courses are conducted by David Parker who is an accredited course director (No. 008441).

Some of the more popular courses are CIEH level two and level three Health and Safety in the workplace, Manual Handling, COSHH, Managing Stress, all these are nationally recognised and certified courses and give the holders proof of their compliance in the subject taken.

These courses are delivered to Mayson Bros Ltd workforce on a structured programme with the aim of the majority being level two qualified by the beginning of 2009.

We also deliver health and safety courses to external organisations to enable them to raise their workforce's health and safety profile, reduce accidents, enhance reputation and be more cost effective.
