Gary Mayson

Gary has lived in the Egremont area all his life.  In the early 1980’s, he set up a business in agricultural haulage and drainage from his parents home in Coulderton, moving on to Catgill Hall on the outskirts of Egremont.  Over the years, the company has diversified and grown to meet changing local needs and now has a broad range of business activities.   Along with construction, building, drainage, highway work, Mayson Bros is proud to have recently been awarded Investors in People and is Corgi and NICEIC  Registered.  Acquisition of a new larger premises in central Egremont in the summer of 2007 has facilitated expansion of the buisness with typically 100 local employees and a fleet of 45 vehicles.

Gary now lives in Whitehaven with his wife and two sons.  He is a supporter of local sporting activities such as football, cricket and karting with regular sponsorships. He still spends a lot of time at the Catgill home, going back to his roots enjoying family time in the country.
